BRADLEY vs ISU Football Infographic: A BRAVE ATTEMPT
The crashing of football players and the crunching of game statistics are easier to watch than to explain. Bradley University's football team played its last game in 1970 against rival Illinois State University. After deciphering the hand written game records I created this infographic to depict the play-by-play action of the game. The center circle line graph uses different line weight and icons to represent the movement of the football. The inside chart breaks down how each yard was won or lost and how each point was scored. The text on either side of the title describes the weather conditions, attendance and additional statistics.
Product Design
Zika Juices
The challenge of designing the Zika Juice product line was changing the way aseptic packaging is viewed. Aseptic packages have many benefits, including an extended shelf life without refrigeration while preserving the taste and freshness. These are often over looked because of other typically purchased juice containers such as jars or cartons. With a pleasing color palate and mouth-watering images, Zika Juices go head to head with the established brands while presenting the consumer with a healthier, organic, more earth-friendly alternative.
POSTER DESIGN
Right Size Your Portions Poster
As the obesity rate grows and children's minds are filling up with information more than ever, some of the basics of healthy eating are lost. With the use of bright colors, popular children's food, and catchy point of interest sayings, this poster visually shows the difference between a snack and an unhealthy portion. It hits both the right brain with direct images, and left brain with the numerical calorie listings.
AD CAMPAIGN
Peoria Theater
Peoria Independent Theater is a theater that doesn't show your average box office hit. It focuses on indie films, documentaries, and other film art. This poster targeted the unique characteristics of the theater such as its full bar and artistic atmosphere. Using the play on word "Reel" for the slogan and collage of highlighted areas of the theater to represent these characteristics. The font represents bringing back a traditional style of viewing films as art.
The theater's budget modest budget put a premium on word-of-mouth advertising. At local coffee shops, they'd place Peoria Theater coffee sleeves on cups in order to have a conversation piece for their customers. Another huge target market is avid movie watchers. The popcorn bags would be given away at local films fests throughout the area. These efforts aided in increasing the appreciation of film art through out the area.
DIRECT MAIL
Dream Center of Peoria Direct Mail Piece
It's difficult enough to get people to donate money, but it's even harder to convince people to donate time. This booklet shows how to help at the Dream Center of Peoria and when to do so. Year round they host a variety of events to support the low income surrounding community, such as Back Pack Peoria, and they need help. The cover states "Making time, makes a difference.." and folds out to continue saying "...an Impact, and a better Peoria." The first page consists of a description of the Dream Center and a list of the yearly events. There is also a page full of stickers instructing people to mark their calendars on days they can donate their time. The book is just big enough that a CD could accompany the book containing a video that would more in depth about the DCP.

O'Sullivan Foundation to Fight Postate Cancer
The Irish may be luckier than some but unfortunately cancer doesn't discriminate. The O'Sullivan Foundation was created to raise money in memory of Thomas O'Sullivan who died of Prostate Cancer. I combined blue prostate cancer ribbon with the symbolic Celtic knot to create a mark for the foundation that then forms the 'A'.
MAGAZINE COVER & SPREAD
Style Magazine for PF Flyer Shoes
As a class project, we were to create the first issue of a style magazine for PF Flyer shoes. I needed to create something that PF Flyer owners would be interested in reading. This included the name, inside stories and over-all design.
The inside spread for my style magazine featured an article about a breaking new band named The HeyDay. I wanted to embrace the characteristics of this indie band in a typographic layout that would appeal to the readers of PFlare

Peoria Theater EarthDay Film Fest
Recycling, planting a tree, or watching a documentary, are all ways to celebrate Earth Day. The Peoria Theater hosts a film fest to show documentaries and films related to Earth Day issues. The filmstrip in the shape of the Earth represents the interlocking connection between helping the earth and being educated and about what is going on through film. It's very versatile and could be applied to anything from a simple t-shirt design, to the full website page. I designed the website page by carrying the theme of the logo through out, as it highlights the featured films and event information.
